Andy Reid of the Philadelphia Eagles and Lovie Smith of the Chicago Bears were among seven of the National Football League’s 32 head coaches to get fired a day after the conclusion of the regular season.
The Chicago Bears fired coach Lovie Smith after nine seasons as the National Football League team failed to make the playoffs with a 10-6 record, according to NFL.com, which cited a person it didn’t identify.
