Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown said he’ll let Carson Palmer retire rather than agree to trade the quarterback, the National Football League team said on its website.
The Arizona Cardinals acquired quarterback Carson Palmer from the Oakland Raiders, the National Football League teams said.
Carson Palmer would rather retire than return to the Cincinnati Bengals, WCPO-TV said , citing the quarterback.
Two days after they lost starting quarterback Jason Campbell to a broken collarbone, the Oakland Raiders acquired Carson Palmer from the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for two draft picks.
